1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using InterviewPickle (“the Platform,” “the Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and InterviewPickle.

2. Nature of the Service

InterviewPickle is an educational content platform that provides study materials, algorithm explanations, system design guides, code examples, and interactive visualizations intended to help individuals prepare for technical interviews. The Platform is provided strictly for informational and educational purposes.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

InterviewPickle does not guarantee any specific outcomes, including but not limited to job placement, interview success, salary increases, or career advancement. The effectiveness of the materials depends on numerous factors outside our control, including but not limited to individual effort, prior knowledge, interview conditions, hiring decisions made by third-party employers, and market conditions. Your use of the Platform and its content is entirely at your own risk.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Portions of the content on InterviewPickle are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies. While all AI-generated content is reviewed and curated by human editors for accuracy, completeness, and quality, we cannot guarantee that all content is free from errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. The overall curriculum, learning paths, and educational strategy are designed and planned by experienced human engineers.

You acknowledge and accept that:

Some content may contain AI-generated text, code examples, explanations, and diagrams
AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies despite human review
You should independently verify any critical information, especially code used in production environments
The Platform is a learning aid, not a definitive reference source

5. Account Registration

To access premium content, you must create an account with a valid email address or sign in using a supported third-party authentication provider (e.g., Google). You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. One account is intended for one individual user only. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that appear to be shared or used by multiple individuals.

6. Premium Access & Payment

Premium access costs $49/year (USD) or ₹3,499/year (INR), subject to change
Payment is a one-time charge for 1 year of access from the date of purchase
There are no auto-renewals or recurring charges
Access expires exactly 365 days after purchase
Payments are processed securely via Stripe, a third-party payment processor
Prices may be updated at any time; existing purchases are honored at the original price
We reserve the right to offer promotional pricing or discount codes at our sole discretion

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund policy from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Platform, contact us at team@interviewpickle.com within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. After the 7-day period, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. Refunds are processed through the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

8. Content Usage & Restrictions

All content on InterviewPickle is licensed for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not:

Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or republish any content from the Platform
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to download or extract content
Share premium content with non-paying users or make it publicly available
Use the content for commercial training, courses, or educational products without written permission
Create derivative works based on our content for distribution or sale
Remove or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, or attribution

9. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to text, diagrams, code examples, visualizations, UI design, logos, and trademarks, is the intellectual property of InterviewPickle or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Problem descriptions that reference common algorithmic problems are presented in our own original words, format, and explanatory style.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that:

The content is error-free, complete, current, or accurate
The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of bugs
Any specific learning outcomes or career results will be achieved
The content reflects the most current industry practices or interview standards
Code examples are production-ready or free of security vulnerabilities

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INTERVIEWPICKLE AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages, and regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise).

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. If you have not made any payments, our maximum liability shall be $50 USD.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InterviewPickle, its owners, operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any claim that your use of the Platform caused damage to a third party.

13. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Firebase (authentication and database), Stripe (payment processing), and Resend (email delivery). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and InterviewPickle regarding your use of the Platform, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
